Two Elsberry High School basketball players were recently selected to the Class 3 District 6 All-district Teams by area coaches.
Junior Samantha York was chosen from the Lady Indians basketball squad. Senior Ryan Flanagan made the team from the Indians squad.
York and Flanagan join the following players on the all-district squad: Girls - Anne Marie Hartung, Bowling Green; Jordyn Tolliver, Centrailia; Samantha Heck, North Callaway; and Katie Schereder, Bowling Green. Boys - Brandan McCann, Bowling Green; Ryan Cox, Bowling Green; Zach McClelland, Mark Twain; Tyler Wright, Centrailia.
Bowling Green coaches, Bobby Spoonster and Steve Boeh, were selected as the coach of the year for the girls and boys teams, respectively.
