Two Elsberry softball players cited for academic work

The Elsberry High School athletic department has been notified by the Missouri High School Athletic Association that two members of the 2008-09 Lady Indians softball squad have been selected to the Academic All-State Softball team. 
Selected to the first team for maintaining a GPA of 3.88 or above, is pitcher/shortstop, Sam York.  Placed on the second team for maintaining a GPA of between 3.75 and 3.88, is outfielder, Sarah Gnade.
