River Cats win AAA World Series

The Sacramento River Cats defeated the Scranton Yankees to win the AAA Minor League World Series 4-1 Tuesday at Oklahoma City.
Bob Hemond, co-owner of the Hannibal Cavemen, is the vice president of the River Cats.
The River Cats came out of the gates with a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning and tacked on another run in the sixth inning to secure the victory.
The River Cats are an affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.
