The Hannibal JV boys basketball team lost 62-52 to Boonville on Tuesday night. Pravon McBride led the Pirates with 16 points. Dalton Powell scored nine for Hannibal in the loss.
MS BASKETBALL
7th grade girls end season
This past Saturday the HMS 7th grade girls basketball team defeated Moberly 22-10 to win third place at the Mexico Tournament. Paige Utterback and Ashley Wilson led the team in scoring with six points apiece. The Lady Pirates were defeated by Mexico Thursday night in the first round of the tournament with a score of 38-21. Utterback led the team with 12 points. This tournament ended the Lady Pirates season with a record of 3-11.
VARSITY BASKETBALL
Marion Co. 55
Novinger 22
Jessica Redd scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Marion County Lady Mustangs beat Novinger 55-22. Marion County opened the game on a 20-2 run en route to the win. Jordan Johnson scoring 10 points for the Lady Mustangs in the win.
