The Hannibal volleyball team recorded a 25-19, 25-13 sweep of Fulton in a North Central Missouri Conference match at Korf Gymnasium on Thursday.

The Hannibal volleyball team recorded a 25-19, 25-13 sweep of Fulton in a North Central Missouri Conference home match at Korf Gymnasium on Thursday.

Hannibal fended off the Lady Hornets in Game 1 and started the second set with a 10-1 run to coast to victory. 

The Lady Pirates improve to 17-9-1 overall and 5-0 in the NCMC. 

Kyler Rademan served four aces and dished out eight set assists for Hannibal, while Kaylee Falconer posted five kills and also distributed eight set assists in the win.

Claire Thomas provided four kills and two blocks. Abby Baumann finished with three kills and an ace. Maddie Janes made 10 digs with two kills and an ace, and Payton Frick had two aces.

Hannibal is scheduled to play at Mexico on Monday.

Hannibal JV sweeps Fulton

The Hannibal junior varsity team swept Fulton 25-14, 25-11 on Thursday night. Kendel Locke led with 15 set assists and three aces. Bella Falconer posted 11 kills, five digs, four set assists and three aces. Katie Greening had four digs, three kills and an ace.

9/10 Lady Pirates win at home

The Hannibal 9/10 team defeated Fulton 25-14, 25-11 on Thursday. Aliviah Williams led with 10 aces, six kills and six digs. Samara Dean had five set assists, three kills and an ace. Gabby LaMothe posted five aces and three kills. Chrissy St. Juliana made six digs and three aces, while Avion Scott had 11 digs. 

Hannibal 8th grade remains unbeaten

The Hannibal Middle School 8th grade volleyball team finished its regular season with a 15-0 record Thursday night. The Lady Pirates earned a 25-23, 25-8 win over Kirksville. Hannibal is scheduled to host a home tournament Saturday. 

7th grade Lady Pirates complete perfect season 

The Hannibal 7th grade volleyball team defeated Kirksville 25-12 in straight sets Thursday to complete its season with a 15-0 record. Lexi Wheelan and Jocelyn Dorsey each contributed multiple aces in the win. The Lady Pirates are slated to play a level up during a home 8th grade tournament Saturday.
