The Hannibal girls tennis team was unable to muster a point during a 9-0 loss to Quincy Notre Dame on Tuesday.

Elizabeth Brummell put up the best fight of the day for Hannibal on the No. 4 singles court, falling 6-4 in the first set but taking a 3-2 lead in the second before retiring due to illness.

Hannibal's top player Sascha Pauly fell 6-1, 6-3 in No. 1 singles.

Blair Burton lost 6-0, 6-4 at No. 2, while Elizabeth Stilley was defeated 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3. Jaspreet Kandola lost 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5, and Kaylee Dissel fell 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6. 

Pauly and Burton lost 8-1 in No. 1 doubles.

Stilley and Autumn Krisko lost 8-0 in No. 2 doubles, and Kandola teamed with Dissel in an 8-0 loss at No. 3.

Hannibal (2-6) is scheduled to host Marshall on Thursday.
