Post 55 was eliminated from the state tournament.

Hannibal led 6-1 going to the bottom of the fifth inning before the game took a drastic turn. 

Washington rallied for two runs in the fifth, one in the sixth and three more in the seventh, when all five batters reached base to secure a walk-off victory.

Tristan Molitor hit a two-run double to left for Washington to tie the score. Jacob Bauche was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to bring home the winning run.

Mason Tharp and Drake Dudley paced Post 55 with two hits a piece in the defeat.

Charlie Culp IV reached on an error to drive home Dudley for the first score of the game, and Gary Culp came home on a double steal to put Hannibal up 2-0 in the first.

Dudley knocked in Brody Lehenbauer with a single to make it 3-0 in the second.

After Washington pulled to within 3-1, Kegan Birck scored on a passed ball in the third to restore Hannibal's three-run lead. 

Caleb Young picked up a pair of RBIs on a sacrifice fly in the fifth to put Post 55 ahead by five.

Birck started for Hannibal and worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the fourth to keep the lead. He tossed six innings while allowing four runs (two earned). 

Ethan Mort pitched 2 2/3 shutout, no-hit innings in relief to earn the win for Washington.

On Thursday, Hannibal defeated Branson 9-2 with a 14-hit outburst to keep its season alive. 

Tharp drove in three runs in the win, while Dudley knocked in a pair. Gary Culp reached base three times.

Garrett Lillard, Jack Kirby and Lehenbauer each scored twice. 

Tharp pitched a complete game of two-run ball. He struck out five en route to the victory.
