Charlie Ben Fohey of Hannibal scored an ace on Hole 16 and Lance Bettis won the A flight in the 12th annual Ice Bowl on Saturday.
A hole in one was made at Saturday’s Ice Bowl Tournament.
Charlie Ben Fohey of Hannibal scored the ace on Hole 16, winning the pot in the Ace Fund.
“I can’t remember the last time we had an Ace Fund winner during the Ice Bowl," John Shaw of Excitement Disc Golf said.
Weather was favorable for the 12th annual Ice Bowl, which was played at the Don Crane Disc Golf Course in Huckleberry Park and sponsored by the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department and Excitement Disc Golf.
There were 50 participants from all over the Tri-State area.
Aron Lee, assistant director of Hannibal Parks & Recreation, said, “The Ice Bowl always attracts players from far and wide. They enjoy the challenges on the course and visiting Hannibal.”
