Hannibal coach Kyle Arthaud commended his team for going unbeaten, calling it "an extremely hard thing to do in any sport at any level."

"The fact that these young men were able to accomplish that speaks volumes of how much hard work, dedication and effort they put into their season," the coach said. "I couldn't be any prouder of the progress this group of guys showed throughout the season and the confidence they built in themselves and in their brothers out there on the field. Winners find a way to win, and they proved to everybody watching that they are winners."
