The Lady Panthers offense exploded for seven runs in fourth and fifth innings.

With the win Monroe City improved to 19-3 on the season.

Skyler Kauble paced the 11-hit offensive attack with a 3-for-4 night at the plate. The junior shortstop scored two runs and drove home two more.

Lauren Youngblood picked up two hits, scored three and had an RBI in three trips to the plate.

Grace Arnold smacked her first home run of the season, while Haleigh St. Clair and Savannah Hetzler both recorded doubles.

McKenzie West earned the win as she tossed the first three innings. The junior allowed two hits and struck out six.

Freshman Riley Quinn recorded the final six outs, four of which came on strikeouts.

The Lady Panthers open up district play on Wednesday against Mark Twain.
