The Mark Twain softball team fell behind early and couldn't claw back Tuesday in a 14-0 loss at Eastern Missouri Conference rival North Callaway.

The Mark Twain softball team fell behind early and couldn't claw back Tuesday in a 14-0 loss at Eastern Missouri Conference rival North Callaway. 

North Callaway plated six runs in the first inning and eight more in the third en route to five-inning blowout. 

Nine of the home team's runs came unearned thanks to 10 Mark Twain errors.

McKenzie Lathrom, Alyssa Ferry, Bria Hooley and Elizabeth Trower each recorded one single for the Lady Tigers in the losing effort. 

Sydnee Brothers started for Mark Twain and allowed five earned runs in three innings to take the loss.
