The Palmyra girls tennis team had very little trouble Thursday evening against Fulton.
The Lady Panthers dropped a total of 12 games as they bageled Fulton, 9-0.
Kendra Maples, Lauryn Wear, Raegan Barnett, Amy Bryan and Robby Meyers all won their single matches by identical 10-1 scores.
Emily Griesbaum won on the No. 2 singles court by a score of 10-3.
Maples and Griesbaum won on the No. 1 doubles court 8-1, as did Wear and Meyers at No. 3 doubles. Bryan and Barnett won at No. 2 doubles by a score of 8-2.
The Lady Panthers, who defeated Quincy Notre Dame Wednesday evening (5-4) in the continuation of a suspended match, improved to 5-1 on the season.
“The girls are continuing to improve in all aspects of the game,” Lady Panthers coach Jessica Gottman said. “Serves are starting to look much better and the girls are getting more and more confident.”
The Palmyra JV team also picked up a win Thursday against Fulton, 6-0.
The Lady Panther reserves dropped just two games in the six wins on the doubles court.
