The Hannibal Open Tennis Tournament is slated for Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16 split between the courts at Huckleberry Park and Hannibal Middle School.

The Hannibal Open Tennis Tournament is slated for Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16 split between the courts at Huckleberry Park and Hannibal Middle School.

The single elimination tournament will have a consolation bracket.

There will be two divisions for boys and girls: 18 and under and 14 and under. There will also be two men's and women's divisions based on skill level, including 3.5 (intermediate) and 4.0 and above (advanced), based on United States Tennis Association ratings.

There will be singles and doubles for all divisions, but each person is limited to one singles and one doubles entry. All matches are 10-game pro sets with regular scoring.

The entry price is $20 per singles player or doubles team. Each player and/or doubles team is required to provide one can of USTA-approved tennis balls. 

Medals will be awarded for first place, second place and consolation, and a shirt will be given to each participant.

The tournament is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. on July 14 before continuing at 8 a.m. on July 15 and 9 a.m. on July 16.
