Not many teams can boost a perfect home record. The Hannibal Lady Pirates swim team can.
Sure the Lady Pirates only have one home meet this season, but Hannibal dominated Oakville on Thursday afternoon to pick up the dual win. At the Hannibal YMCA in front of a large crowd, the Lady Pirates won 10 of the 11 events to both open and close its home schedule with a win.
With the District tournament coming up this weekend and the State tournament following that, the Hannibal wrestling team had one more tournament on its schedule for the 2009-10 season.
On Saturday the Pirates headed to Francis Howell Central for the final regular-season tournament.
Four Pirates picked up four wins at the tournament, but no one could get the elusive fifth win for a tournament title. The result of the four wins was three second place finishes and a third place finish.

Camille Hackmack signed a National Letter of Intent to join the track team at the University of Missouri. The Hannibal High School senior will compete in the high jump for Mizzou. Hackamack intends to pursue a career in broadcast journalism and Mizzou offered the best mix of academics and athletics. "I went to Mizzou and I was really impressed by the philosophy. I love how they respect you as a student-athlete." Hackamack is pictured with her brother Brandon, father Kent and mother Christina.
