Between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, the Missouri Department of Transportation will close Missouri 168 west of Philadelphia to begin the replacement of the North River bridge located just east of the Shelby County line.
The 79-year-old bridge should take approximately 67 working days to replace. The new bridge will be 2-foot wider and will open to traffic in March.
The detour is marked over Routes Z and C in Marion County and Route Z in Shelby County. Some areas of the road will remain open to residential traffic only.
