Family members with relatives buried at Riverside Cemetery are not happy with the management of the cemetery's board over dismantled tombstones and poor lawn maintenance. Volunteers are asked to come out to Riverside Cemetery today to assist in a cleanup.
Cemetery board member Rose Starks said the cleanup is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until 4:30 p.m.
Stark said the goal is to get the entire cemetery clean and presentable by Nov. 11, Veterans Day.
Any information on veterans buried in Riverside Cemetery should be provided to board members on the cleanup day so flags may be placed at markers.
