Tonight's Riverside Cemetery Board meeting has been cancelled due to inclement weather. It has been rescheduled for Jan. 19.
According to the board’s vice president Max Capp, the board will discuss lowering the quorum amount from seven to four so meetings can be held. Last month’s meeting did not have enough board members arrive to have a quorum.
Capp also said other main topics include working with the Hannibal Community Foundation in effort to bring more donated money into the cemetery’s account. The finalization of mowing regulations are expected to be set by the board. Capp said bids to find a new mower for the cemetery is top priority at this time.
The meeting is open to the public and those interested in the cemetery or those who have family buried interred on the grounds are encouraged to attend.
