Hannibal, MO —

Hannibal’s Salvation Army’s leader has been promoted. Major Normalene Daniels has served the Salvation Army for 15 years, and expects to continue her Hannibal assignment. Daniels arrived in Hannibal March 1, 2006.
Daniels was honored for her promotion to major by the Salvation Army Board of Directors at its June meeting Monday, June 9.
“Major Daniels has inspired us all with her dedication and joy in loving and working,” board member Wanda Mitchell said.
Aleeta Mae Riney said, “she is thorough in her work and has such a cooperative spirit.”
“Normalene has been a credit to the Corps and to the community of Hannibal,” said Bob Wilson. “We wish her a long tenure and congratulate her on her promotion to major.”
Roy Hark said, “I have enjoyed immensely working with Major Daniels. She is a very conscientious and works very hard at running the Army and helping the city and all the community.”
Terry Conn said, “Major Daniels is a true asset to the Hannibal Corps and community. She has a heart for service to others. If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet her, you’ve missed a real joy.”
