The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 4517 of Hannibal, donated $1,000 to Douglass Community Services. The money will be used for programs that assist the elderly such as utility assistance and prescription drugs. The Hannibal Eagles next meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., Nov. 4, at the Douglass Community Services building at 711 Grand Ave. This meeting is open to the public and will feature an overview of member benefits as well as the charities supported.
