This country will never return to the growth and prosperity that the American people have experienced. Why? Because we have opened our borders to cheap labor products.
You don’t have to be smarter than a fifth-grader to understand that it is impossible to compete against countries that pay their workers as little as 50 cents an hour. Good-paying jobs in the U.S. are lost because of it. Fewer people are working here, and so fewer foreign products are brought. Eventually, foreign workers will lose their jobs, too. It is a vicious circle.
The only way you can compete is to lower wages and the standard of living. Look at American Axle. Its workers gave wage and benefit concessions, yet their jobs were still sent to Mexico, which has lower wages.
Some economists say that the loss of our manufacturing base is the main reason for the recession. We are on our way to becoming a low-wage, third world country with no middle class.
Today in America there is only one political party - the banker’s party. In common, both old parties are determined to sham-battle their way through the November elections with the hope that millions of American citizens will be driven into the no man’s land of financial bondage. U.S. citizens have shackled a national debit of trillions of dollars, most of which, was created by a flourish of a fountain pen, our children and grandchildren shall have to repay the debt which was created with a drop of ink in less than 10 seconds.
