Some will say that those of us who disagree with the president are somehow un-American, un-patriotic and even racist. Well, so be it. The president has been on television far more times than he has been days in office. We watch and listen. We see this image of one bobbling first to the right, then to the left, then back again, but never looking directly into the camera.
I resent anyone, black or white, apologizing to the world for what we are as Americans. Mr. President, it isn’t for you to say that we should be satisfied as a second-rate nation. It isn’t for you to give away our liberty and freedom. This wasn’t given to us as some sort of an award, only blood, sweat and even the lives of thousands have made us the world’s only super power.
I resent you telling the world that we are not a religious country. More than 250 million in this country admit to believing in God, and worship in our own way.
There is no doubt that seniors will be the biggest losers to any government sponsored health plan. We will be the first to be told that the government can no longer afford to help keep us alive, and now, beyond that, some 300 million Americans become victims because 205 of our representatives, in the dark of night, say screw you, screw the Constitution, we will do it our way. I guess we get what we ask for.
