We have recently been told that Hannibal’s drinking water is not safe, that it fails to meet government standards.

Much has been made of the recent decision by the Hannibal Board of Public Works to switch disinfectants for our drinking water. Beginning on Sept. 28, we will make the switch away from liquid chlorine to a chloramine solution.

I am blessed to have three great kids. My youngest daughter just started her first year at Mizzou. The day we welcomed Emily into our family still doesn’t seem that long ago.

I believe our friends on the left would like to repeal or deeply undermine the Second Amendment. They are afraid to say this in public for obvious reasons.
