Mrs. Bonnie Jo Crook, 76, of Hannibal, formerly of Palmyra, passed away at 4:41 p.m. Sunday at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. Bonnie was born May 28, 1933, in Fulton, to Floyd William and Lois Maxine Scott Darling. Bonnie married Raymond Philip Crook Aug. 30, 1986, in Palmyra, and he survives of Hannibal.
Survivors include: daughter, Helen Whittaker of Hannibal; sons, Delbert Humphrey of Hannibal,  Floyd Smith of Hannibal; step-daughters, Carolyn Rogers of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Sharon Bryant of Payson, Ill.; step-son, Dwayne Crook of Quincy, Ill.; brothers, Larry Darling of  Richmond, Mo., and David Roff of Gower, Mo.; sisters, Betty White of Independence, Mo., Mary Hoy of Liberty, Mo., Dee Pence of Liberty, Mo., and Kay Janicke of Plattsburg, Mo.; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Gene Smith and David Smith, and a step-daughter, Debra Hall.
Mrs. Crook was a retired certified nurses aide at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra. She had formerly worked at Main Street Cafe in Hannibal. She was a member of Faith Miracle Ministry  in Hannibal, and was a former Sunday School teacher in Fulton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at The Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra. Pastor Kimberly Britt will officiate. Interment will be at The Philadelphia Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mo. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at The Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Miracle Ministry Hannibal.
Pallbearers are Delbert Humphrey, Floyd Smith, Richie Vavra, Rowdy Britt, Albert Whittaker and Greg Smith.
Honorary Bearers are Tony Smith, Geno Smith, Michael Humphrey and Chris Humphrey.
