Jan Carr Jacobson, 61, of Hannibal, died at 6:50 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carr was born Nov. 25, 1948, in Hannibal, to Harding and Marjorie Morgan Carr.
She was first married to Don Daniels and they later separated. She then married Karl Jacobson and he survives.
Survivors include one son, Donnie Daniels (Shelley) of Jefferson City; one daughter, Gina Saxbury (Randy) of Hannibal; a special friend, Jessie Sloan Carr of Bloomington, Ill.; two brothers, Steve Carr (Helen) of Grain Valley, Mo., Craig Carr (Donna) of Florida; and one grandchild, Brittany Saxbury and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Jeannie Patterson and one son, Robbie Daniels.
Mrs. Jacobson worked as a store clerk at several area businesses. She enjoyed Bingo and loved to spend time with her family and liked to read. Mrs. Jacobson was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.
