Earl William “Bill” Milby, 68, of Lewistown, Mo., died at 5:43 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Mo. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Riverview Nazarene Church in Hannibal, Mo. Pastor Bill Haffner will officiate. The James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Milby was born March 14, 1941, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Earl and Mary Stopp Milby.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Ida Milby; four children, Tim Milby (Cindy), Yancey Yakes (Tracy), Jennifer Preston (Jamie) and Patrick Milby (Sherry); one brother, Joe Uvegas; two sisters, Judy Willoughby (Robert), and Eileen Buckley (Gordon); and one aunt, Joan Zlatic. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by his father.
Mr. Milby worked for several years for Allied Maintenance at American Cyanamid. He loved Ohio State football and enjoyed hunting. He was a member of the Riverview Nazarene Church of Hannibal, Mo.
