Gregory Alan Crane, 59, of New London, died at 10:04 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Rev. Roger Huff will officiate. Private Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Mr. Crane was born July 13, 1950, in Hannibal, to Richard L. and Dorothy Mae Tucker Crane.
He was married to Paula Resnick on Sept. 6, 1988, in Hannibal. She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Dorothy Adams of Hannibal; four children, Casey Crane (Heather) of Hannibal, Christina Dudgeon (Chris) of Hannibal, Brandy Flynn (Ryan) of Hannibal, Michelle Riney (John) of Wildwood, Mo.; two brothers, Mike Crane (Kim) of Hannibal, Joe Crane of Maryland; one sister, Jan Crane of Hannibal; two brothers-in-law, Jack Resnick and Randy Resnick; mother-in-law, Mrs. Sam Resnick; 10 grandchildren, Alyssa, Jacob, Reece, Victoria, Christian, Kameron, Logan, Jack, Parker and Ethan; several aunts, nieces and nephews; and two beloved pets, Pinkster and Tiger Face.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Crane; one brother, Don Crane; and grandmothers, Helen Tucker and Evelyn Crane; his grandfathers and uncles.
Mr. Crane was a pipefitter with Local No. 562 for 34 years. He enjoyed being with his family and grandkids, and liked hunting and fishing. Greg also enjoyed joking around with friends and family, and was a great story teller. He loved nothing more than to take a ride in the country down a gravel road. Mr. Crane was a Christian by faith.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or Ebenezer Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mo., in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
