Dorothy Fern Williams, 85 of Mexico joined her heavenly family at 9 a.m. April 9, 2009. I can only imagine her smile as she came face to face with Jesus in her new eternal home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Mexico, with Rev. Larry Baitinger officiating. Visitation is Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park in Mexico.
Dorothy was born on July 10, 1923, near Florida, Mo., near the Salt River, the daughter of John (Dud) and Oka Norman, they preceded her in death.
Dorothy married Virgil Robbins and he preceded her in death; she later married Jim Williams and he also preceded her in death.
Dorothy is survived by her son Norman Robbins and his wife Linda; a daughter Lola Patton and her husband Dewayne; grandchildren, Jason, Jeff and Jordan Robbins, Aura Griffith, Leesa Zeighami, Ronda Treaster and Danyell Monroe; and many great-grandchildren, cousins and church family.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the First United Pentecostal Church or the Lifeline Services of Mexico.
