Christi D. Hendrix, 57, of Hannibal, passed away at 6:08 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Christi D. Hendrix, 57, of Hannibal, passed away at 6:08 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Friends and family are invited to Christi’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.

Following Christi's visitation, the family will be hosting a party to celebrate Christi's life.

Christi was born Jan. 6, 1961 in Hannibal, to Ivan R. and Linda L. Armstrong Hendrix.

Christi was previously married to Jeff Graupman. He survives. She was later previously married to Bill Davis and he also survives.

Other survivors include two children, Crystal Williams of Hannibal and Joshua Graupman of Hannibal; one brother, Keith A. Hendrix (Diana) of Monroe City; one sister, Paula G. Hendrix of Hannibal; five grandchildren, Allison Lou Williams, Gage Matthew Graupman, Alexia Kaylee Graupman, Vincent Tyler Nicosia and Sophie Rose Nicosia. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two very special dogs, Jingles and Minnie.

Professionally, Christi was a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years.

A “green thumb,” Christi loved caring for her flowers and vegetable garden. A gifted decorator, Christi had a talent for making a room look spectacular. A lover of the outdoors, Christi loved watching the birds and other animals, even becoming friendly with the chipmunks in her yard. Christi enjoyed genealogy research and learning the roots of her family. A gifted cook and baker, Christi made the best homemade noodles from her grandmother's recipe. Christi also greatly respected the earth and felt strongly about recycling and composting. A friend to all and always willing to lend a helping hand, Christi loved her family. She simply cherished the time she shared with them.
