Rosa Elizabeth Taylor, 93, of Hannibal, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.

Rosa Elizabeth Taylor, 93, of Hannibal, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Hannibal. Rev. Stephanie Allen will officiate. The Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Hannibal.

Rosa was born Nov. 26, 1924, in Hannibal, to Nathan and Fannie Macer Ford.

She was married to Richard Lee Taylor on Nov. 25, 1977, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death Dec. 27, 2017.

Survivors include one son, James Earl Ford (Patricia), Apple Valley, Minn.; one stepdaughter, Pat Conwell (John), Petersburg, Va.; three grandchildren, Michelle Ford, James Edward Ford (Cindy), Travis Jackson Ford (Emily); three step-grandchildren, Carl Lampkin Jr. (Joann), Corey Lampkin, Heather Riddick; five great-grandchildren, Chelsea Monger (Omar), Kayla Ford, Jade Ford, Isiah Ford, Lorenzo Ford, four step-great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, Amirah, Kingston and Jacobi; and one step-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her aunt, Rosetta Baker; uncle, Thomas Macer; and stepdaughter, Vanita Taylor.

Rosa was a quality control specialist at Buckhorn Rubber Company in Hannibal. She and her husband operated a cleaning and lawn care business. Earlier in her career, she worked in housekeeping and domestic service.

She enjoyed growing and maintaining her rose bushes.

She was a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Hannibal.
