William H. “Bill” Bailey, age 81, of Flowood, Miss., formerly of Festus, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at his home, with his wife, Pastor, and many friends.

William H. “Bill” Bailey, age 81, of Flowood, Miss., formerly of Festus, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at his home, with his wife, Pastor, and many friends.

He was born July 8, 1936, in Denison, Texas, the son of the late Gussie (nee Withrow) and William Leroy Bailey.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Mae (nee Glowner) Bailey; sons, Michael Bailey of Bonne Terre, Fred (Marcy) Robinson of Cape Girardeau and Jason (Yvette) Robinson of Texarkana, Texas; daughters, Kari Lynn (Rick) Alford of Bloomsdale, and Alicia Jean (Eric) King of St. Louis; brother, Roy Dale (Cindy) Bailey of Hannibal; sister, Yvonne (Mike) Woodside of Hannibal; grandchildren, Justin (Amber) Alford, Samantha (Aaron) Colwell, Drew Bailey, Kali Bailey, Joshua (Heather) Robinson, Kelsey Robinson and Kami Robinson; and great-grandchildren Collin, Reaghan, Gabe, Brendon and Avacyn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Constance Lee (nee Rairigh) Bailey; three sisters; and one brother.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran; member of Flowood Baptist Church; the United Aerospace Workers Union; and was retired from production control with McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis in 1992, after 31 years.

Visitation Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Second Baptist Church in Festus. Visitation Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, after 9 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10 a.m., also at Second Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Bobby McGuffie, Pastor of Flowood Baptist Church, and Bro. Ricky Gray of Flowood. Interment in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials in his memory are preferred to the Building Fund of Flowood Baptist Church.
