Stephanie Lynn Tallman, 55, of Hannibal, passed away at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

Stephanie Lynn Tallman, 55, of Hannibal, passed away at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.

Friends and family are invited to Stephanie’s Life Celebration at a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Stephanie was born Sept. 23, 1962, in Marceline, to Dale and Janice Smith Morris.

Survivors include her parents, Dale and Janice Morris of Brookfield; one daughter, Hilary Derrick Brown (Jeffrey) of Virginia, Ill.; two brothers, Terry Morris of Sedalia and Todd Morris of Springfield; one sister, Stacey Stites (Mark) of Parkville; and nieces and nephews, Hunter Hutcheson (Kim), Madeline McCubbin (Keith), Jon Morris, Josh Morris, Michael Morris, Kyle Stites, Kaleb Stites and Kayla Stites. Also surviving is Stephanie's longtime boyfriend, Roger Brown.

She was preceded in death by her sister in law, Kelly Morris.

Stephanie previously worked as an IT Technologist for the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Stephanie loved to spend time with her friends and family. Music was a passion that Stephanie enjoyed. A talented cook and baker, Stephanie's family enjoyed her cooking on many occasions.

Trips to New Orleans and Key West were favorites for Stephanie.

Most of all, Stephanie cherished the moments she shared with those she loved.

Stephanie had a passion for animals and was the owner of many rescue pets over the years.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Family of Dale Morris for medical expenses or the Northeast Missouri Humane Society or to the donor's choice.
