Robert Carl Quinlin, 60, of Quincy, Ill., formerly of Hannibal, passed at 10:02 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at his home.

Robert Carl Quinlin, 60, of Quincy, Ill., formerly of Hannibal, passed at 10:02 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.  Rev. James Brunner will officiate.

Friends and family are invited to Robert’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Robert was born Jan. 4, 1957, in Hannibal to Frank "Bud" Quinlin and Bessie "Louise" Aitkens Kneiss.

Survivors include his mother, Bessie "Louise" Aitkens Kneiss (Kenny); seven children, Stacey Creech (Lance), Dianna McDonald (Sean), Theresa Quinlin-Riley (Jason), Ronald Quinlin (Erica), Cameron Quinlin (Sarah), Michelle Delgado (Salvador) and Lena Quinlin; 17 grandchildren, Garret Quinlin, Thomas Roach, Ricky Fowler, Trevor Widebrook, Carly Quinlin, Alexis Roach, Hailey Widebrook, Aaliyah McDonald, Marvin White Jr., Noah Lacy, Kasey Quinlin-Delgado, Ronald Quinlin Jr., Lynn Quinlin, Hunter Quinlin, Addyson Quinlin, Sue Quinlin and Tara Raerdon; and two great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Quinlin and Erica Raerdon. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Frank Quinlin, Ruth Ann Stewert (Eddie), Missy Quinlin, Fredde Gramble and Robert Ward; his longtime friend and love of his life, Lynda Bridgeman; close friend, Betty Jo Guthrie; his adopted daughters, Julie Icke and Carly Guthrie; seven nephews and 10 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Bill Daniels; two sisters, Mary Brooks and Dorothy Ward; grandfather, Thomas Glenndening; and his great-grandbaby, Quinlin.

Robert worked for Bleigh Redi Mix for over 10 years. He always liked cutting up with his coworkers and enjoyed working with his amazing boss, Bridget Bleigh-Boyea.

Robert loved life. He enjoyed time shared with family. Whether dancing to his favorite tunes or riding his Harley, Robert always had fun. He loved to sing karaoke on the weekends. Robert took pleasure in trips to Destin, Fla., with family, he loved the ocean. Most of all Robert cherished the moments he enjoyed with family and friends.  He was a Christian by faith.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with medical expenses.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Harris, Steve Anderson, Jon Lear, and his grandsons, Garret Quinlin, Thomas Roach, Trevor Widebrook, Marvin White Jr. and Ronald Quinlin Jr.
