Brian Christopher Peer, 33, of St. Louis in the Affton community and formerly of Hannibal, was called home at 8:38 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal. Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate.

Friends and family are invited to Brian’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Brian was born on Dec. 13, 1983, in Hannibal to Ronald Clay Peer and Marilyn Kaye Hudelson Peer.

Survivors include Brian’s mother, Marilyn Kaye Peer of Hannibal; two sons, Jaxon Peer and Rylan Peer, both of Affton; two brothers, Darin Peer of Decatur, Ala., and Ronald Peer Jr. of Palmyra; and one sister, Rhonda Peer Hinton of Monroe City. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Brian was preceded in death by his father.

Brian graduated from Hannibal High School in 2002 with memberships in the National Honor Society and National Technical Society.

Brian was a store manager of over 15 years with the nutrition specialty store, GNC, at various locations throughout the St. Louis metro area. He was currently managing the Arnold store.

Brian loved being a father to his two precious young children more than anything else. They were his world. He will be remembered for taking his kids on numerous adventures along the Missouri, Mississippi and Meramac Rivers to fish or to just hang out and spend time with them. Over the years Brian also enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.

Brian was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. He attended as many games as his time would allow. He followed in his father’s footsteps and enjoyed reading military histories and watching “American Pickers” on T.V.

Brian was a Baptist by faith.

Pallbearers will be Wes Livesay, Chris Dudding, Ted Sampson, Will Clayton, Chase Robinson, Evan Robinson and Michael Harper.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Brian Peer Children’s Scholarship Fund.
