Anna G. Hall, 92, of Hannibal, passed away at 12:03 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at her home.

Anna G. Hall, 92, of Hannibal, passed away at 12:03 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Rev. Maurice Cole will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of services Friday, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Anna was born Aug. 17, 1925, in Hannibal, to Noah James and Pearl P. Abbey Holman.

She was married to Alonzo F. Hall on Nov. 29, 1945, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death Aug. 7, 1965.

Survivors include three children, Paula F. Weathers of Hannibal; Becky J. Hamilton of Hannibal; and Margo E. Reese of Hannibal; one sister, Mary Helen Coleman of Hannibal; one sister-in-law, Lillian Jones; 11 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Terry Ann Buckner, and her brothers and sisters.

A graduate of Douglass High School in Hannibal, Anna enjoyed a long career at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Hannibal where she was their telephone operator for over 18 years. Anna later served as a Foster Grandparent with the Head Start Program for over 20 years.

Away from work, Anna simply loved the time she shared with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dining out, usually at the Golden Corral, was always a pleasure for Anna, as was attending her Women of Prayer luncheons on Saturdays. A wonderful baker, Anna made the best fudge, banana cream pie and countless other treats that were delicious. Most of all, Anna cherished her faith and her family.

Anna was a longtime member of the New Hope Gospel Center in Hannibal, where she also served as the church secretary.

Pallbearers will be Joe Ingram, James Mosley, Tyrell Ingram, Shawn Bell, Alonzo Hamilton and Michael D. Shivers.
