Ona Lillian Ogle, 83, of New London, Mo., passed away at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at her home with her family.

Ona Lillian Ogle, 83, of New London, Mo., passed away at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at her home with her family.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, Mo. Pastor Tom Day will officiate. Burial will be at Samuel Taylor Cemetery in Rockport, Ill.

Friends and family are invited to Ona’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services, Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the funeral home.

Ona was born Dec. 30, 1933, in Shelby, Neb., to James Milton Garner and Jennie Lillian Hoadley Garner.

She was previously married to John Winner and he preceded her in death. She later married Donald Marvin Ogle on Sept. 29, 1991, in New London, Mo. He survives.

Other survivors include four children, Mark Winner (Becky), Bruce Winner (Mona Ellerbrock), Dale Winner (Sandy Brown-Winner) and Rena Winner-Waddell (Ted); seven grandchildren, Joseph Winner, Kristina Winner, Ian Winbrock, Elise Winbrock, Bren Winbrock, Cade Waddell, Leah Waddell; one great-grandchild, J.J. Winner; one sister-in-law, Erma Garner and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Roy "Jack" Garner (Ruth), Loren Garner (Ilah), Milton Garner (Marie), George Garner (Dorothy) and Harold Garner.

Ona was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. She worked for several factories including Brown Shoe Company, American Safety and later retired from DieMakers.

Ona’s family was everything to her. She loved the times that they were able to share together. Ona also loved crafting, including sewing, needlepoint and plastic canvas. She was always dreaming up new ideas, crafts and projects to create for her family and friends. Ona also enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and reading.

Ona was Christian by faith.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Samuel Taylor Cemetery or Community Loving Care Hospice.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Winner, Ian Winbrock, Cade Waddell, Bren Winbrock, Nathan Davis and Dalton Channell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Garner, Darold Garner, Roger Straus, Mark Rubemeyer and Cody Rubemeyer.
