Ohio woman hurt in Lincoln County crash

An Ohio woman suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident early Tuesday afternoon in Lincoln County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 12:48 p.m. on Route Y, 0.1 of a mile west of Macintosh Hill. A 2002 Saturn LS, driven by 19-year-old Danielle Skelton of Clinton, Ohio, was westbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. When Skelton over-corrected the car again left the pavement where it struck two mail boxes and a guy wire before becoming airborne and overturning.
Skelton, who was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, was taken to St. Joseph’s West Hospital by Lincoln County Ambulance.
