Michael D. Billings, 27, of Palmyra, suffered minor injuries at 3:19 p.m. Saturday, July 24, when he was hit by a car in Franklin County.
He was taken by ambulance to St. Johns Hospital in Washington, Mo.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident was on U.S. 50 1.6 miles west of St. Johns Road in Franklin County. Officers said Billings had parked and exited his vehicle and was standing in the road, when a westbound 2008 Ford Crown Victoria hit him. The car was driven by Douglas L. Thomas, 39, of Union. He was not injured.
