Silex woman hurt when cars hit deer

A Silex woman suffered minor injuries Monday when the car she was driving struck a deer in Lincoln County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened on northbound U.S. 61, one mile north of Route KK. A 2004 Mini Cooper was being driven by 57-year-old Pamela Mann when it struck the animal.
Mann, who was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital by Lincoln County Ambulance.
