A Moscow Mills man suffered minor injuries Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in Lincoln County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 9:40 a.m. on southbound U.S. 61 south of Route U. A 1997 Ford Thunderbird was being driven south by 36-year-old Robert Kinnaman of Moscow Mills. Kinnaman attempted to pass a 2009 Peterbuilt tractor operated by 49-year-old Ricky Jameson of Moscow Mills which was also going south. Reportedly, the right front portion of the Thunderbird struck the left rear part of the Peterbilt. The contact caused the car to overturn. It came to rest upside down off of the east side of the road.
Kinnaman, who was not wearing a safety device, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital West by Lincoln County Ambulance.
