Luetkemeyer announces hew round of Constituent Service Days in 9th District

U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) announced Monday that he will be holding a new series of Constituent Service Days throughout the 9th District beginning on June 22 through June 25 to allow communities and individuals to share their concerns with members of his district staff.

The day after he won election, then-governor-elect Jay Nixon called in Democrats and Republicans to begin addressing Missouri’s biggest needs. Out of that brainstorming session came the foundation for a jobs bill, which Nixon signed during a ceremony at Hannibal City Hall Thursday morning.

Hannibal BPW crew working to restore power in southern Missouri

Four Hannibal Board of Public Works have been working in southern Missouri helping to restore power in Fredericktown, a community hard hit by severe weather which struck the area last week.
According to Don Willis, general manager of the Hannibal Board of Public Works, four personnel from Hannibal and two BPW trucks have been stationed in Fredericktown since May 9.
