Obama to make Missouri stop

Columbia, MO —

Barack Obama will make a campaign stop in Missouri on Tuesday.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Missouri Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill has confirmed Obama, the front runner for the Democratic nomination, will visit Cape Girardeau to hold an economic town hall.


Half-staff flags to honor Missouri peace officers

JEFFERSON CITY —

In recognition of Peace Officers Memorial Day, Gov. Matt Blunt has announced that all flags at state facilities in Missouri will be flown at half-staff on Thursday, May 15. They will remain at half-staff until dusk.
