Red Cross to host annual meeting

The Northeast Missouri Chapter of the American Red Cross will have its annual meeting and volunteer recognition banquet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday June 30, 2009.
The meeting will be held in Hannibal at the Quality Inn & Suites.
Recognition will be given to volunteers who have engaged in accomplishing the mission of the American Red Cross to provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.  Awards will be presented to those who have performed outstanding leadership and service to the Northeast Missouri Chapter.
The board will elect officers and new board members, as well as honor retiring board members for their years of service during the business portion of the meeting.
