Hannibal man hurt in collision with deer

A Hannibal man was left with moderate injuries after the motorcycle he was riding struck a deer Wednesday evening in Ralls County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Route O, three miles south of Hannibal. A 1994 Honda motorcycle was being driven north by 46-year-old Michael Cates when it struck a deer and overturned, ejecting Cates.
Cates was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Medical Center.
