On Saturday, July 4, between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., Missouri 79 from Broadway Street in Hannibal to just north of Continental Cement will be reduced to one lane traffic while the Hannibal Cannibal 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk is in progress.
MoDOT and Bross Construction is working with Cannibal organizers to provide traffic control, and drivers on side roads entering Route 79 are asked to use extra caution during those times. The lane restriction will be removed immediately following the race.
