Macon, MO —
The Missouri Department of Transportation will close to traffic Douglass Street on the north side of U.S. 36 on Wednesday, July 8, from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Douglass Street is located on the west edge of Shelbina in Shelby County.
The closure will allow crews to install a drainage pipe under Douglass Street as part of the U.S. 36 four-lane project.
During this time motorists must choose alternate routes. The contractor will work quickly to get the operation done in one day. The work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
