An interactive television program to discuss Missouri’s fence law is scheduled for 7 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 19
The meeting will be in the Palmyra State Bank Community Room, 400 S. Main in Palmyra.
There is a $5 charge and pre-registration is recommended by calling Alix Carpenter of the Marion County University of Missouri Extension at (573) 769-2177.
“Missouri continues to have a very complicated fence law, in large part due to the fact that two separate laws cover the state depending on the county that your land is in,” said Joe Koenen, an extension agricultural business specialist who will present the program.
Koenen has been presenting programs on the fence law for more than 15 years throughout the state. Interactive television allows two-way communication between different sites so that questions can be asked.
