Cancer support group to meet

The Blessing Hospital General Cancer Support Group meeting will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Noon at the Blessing Cancer Center, Broadway at 11th Street. The support group meets in the Complementary Services Room, which is located on the lower level of the Cancer Center. In honor of Prostate and Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, please join us as Dr. M. Amjad Ali, Medical Oncology at Blessing Cancer Center, presents an overview of prostate and ovarian cancers.   
The General Cancer Support Group meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month and are open to all cancer patients, their family members, loved ones and other caregivers.  A light lunch will be provided during the meeting.  Please RSVP by calling the Blessing Cancer Center at (217) 277-3500 Ext. 7709.
