Dinner planned in Basnett’s honor

Friends and family of Tommy Basnett of Hannibal are invited to a deployment dinner at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at 2939 Market St., Hannibal.
He is the son of Steve and Sharon Basnett of Hannibal.
Tommy is stationed in Hawaii with the United States Army, as military police. He will be deployed to Iraq following his return to Hawaii.
In case of rain, the dinner will be at the Free Methodist Church on Head Lane in Hannibal.
