The Hannibal Jaycees hosted its first teen night at Tanyard Gardens Wednesday night during the first day of National Tom Sawyer Days, with a large crowd attending.
Winners of the karaoke contest were:
• Middle school - Cody Powell, first; and Natalie Hawkins, second.
• High school - Kori Caswell, first; Erica Graham, second; and a duet by Ashley Stevenson and Crystal Ferguson, third.
First place winners received $100, and second place, $50. All four received armbands from the carnival. The third place winners received T-shirts.
