Burning incense and candles are believed to have led to the report that a building was on fire in the 1900 block of Market Street in Hannibal Saturday night.
The report was received at 11:08 p.m. leading to a response of all on duty fire personnel.  No fire or smoke was seen as firefighters arrived on the scene. When firefighters reached the second floor of the building, which is where the report said the blaze was located, no fire was found. Firefighters could detect an odor of burned incense and candles on the second floor.
