Frankford holds annual Park Day

Floyd Houchins participates in Saturday's Frankford Park Day parade with his entry "Woman Pushing a Wheelbarrow." The day also featured contests, games, a quilt show, crafts, a baby show, cakes walks and entertainment. Proceeds will benefit the Frankford Fire Department.

Frankford, MO —

Saturday was perfect for Frankford’s annual Park Day.
The parade featured floats, walking entries, horses, the Bowling Green High School marching band and grand marshal Dan Tucker.
There was also plenty of food, entertainment and fun in the park.
Contests included Little Mr. and Miss, best pie, cutest baby, look-a-like, bubble gum blowing, lip sync and a tricycle race.
Additional events included hourly drawings, cake walks, a dunking booth, poker, bingo, craft booths, a quilt show and a firemen’s water barrel challenge
Proceeds will benefit the Frankford Fire Department.
